Our Nursing Staff
Our nursing staff consists exclusively of Licensed Practical Nurses. Our nurses work directly with our providers to ensure that your questions and concerns are addressed as promptly as possible. Any guidance or information that our nurses relay to patients comes directly from our providers. There is never a need to try to "bypass" a triage nurse because your provider personally addressed all of the concerns and his or her nurse relays the information back to you. While each nurse is cross trained with every provider, we find that a team approach is most efficient so, as a general rule, you will see the same nurse whenever you come in for an appointment with your assigned provider.
Mary Beth, LPN: Mary Beth started with the practice from day 1 in 2005 and worked with Dr. Williams for about a year prior to that. Before transitioning to primary care she spent over 17 years as a nurse in an Ear, Nose and Throat office working with surgeons. Mary Beth is also the Office Coordinator and helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice and manages our ongoing Patient-Centered Medical Home Quality Improvement endeavors.
Paula, LPN: Paula joined the team in 2010. In addition to working with Eileen she helps handle the over flow for our two doctors. Through additional training and professional development, Paula is also a recognized Chronic Care Professional. She is responsible for overseeing the Chronic Care Management program that addresses the comprehensive needs of patients who are at high risk for hospitalization.
Our Administrative Staff:
While you may not always see the members of our administrative staff, we can assure you that they are all vital members of your health care team. Debbie, Renee and Cheryl work with providers, nurses and patients to provide seamless, coordinated care.
Debbie: Debbie joined our team in 2005 and has been in charge of our billing since 2006. She handles our payments, collections and denials from insurance companies. Debbie works directly with both insurance companies and patients to try to resolve any discrepancies. We recognize that some of the insurance rules can be confusing and she is happy to help our patients understand their policy coverage and benefits as much as possible.
Renee: Since 2014 Renee has managed the front desk with a smile. She handles the majority of our phone calls and scheduling and she sees to it that our patients are not lost to follow up. Renee works hard to make sure your information is up to date and current and also notifies our patients of any policy changes. Should you be transferring in from another office or leaving the area, she sees to it that we obtain your outside records or forward them along to your new provider.
Cheryl: Joining us in August of 2017, Cheryl is our Referrals Coordinator. She is in charge of scheduling specialty appointments and testing as well as obtaining any necessary prior authorizations. You may also see Cheryl covering the front desk from time to time or filling in for Debbie in billing; her extensive experience makes her a well-rounded addition to our team.
